Two academics discuss dance music and counterculture in their very academic way! Theyâre so knowledgeable about music history and I love the Way they contextualize their discussions.
Youâll also come away with some great tracks.
Itâs very episodic- you can jump around and pick a topic that interests you if you donât want to listen to the entire series, but it might be a good idea to at least start with the Welcome episode if you arenât familiar with David Mancusoâs The Loft party, as that will be referenced often.

If you have this in your city, do it. Transport is no longer a chore, but rather, a picturesque experience. Youâre present and taking note of your surroundings, instead of frying your brain on public transit or in a car. Also, this is MUCH cheaper than normal Uber!

Itâs an app where you can search for or scan barcodes of skincare products and it tells you the quality of the ingredients in them. Surprise surprise, most of the products we put on our face are complete shit. But for example, I just did an entire Olive Young skin care haul of products I had NEVER TRIED, and I had complete faith theyâd be good for me because I researched each product on YUKA and all products had a 92+ rating, categorized as âexcellentâ on the site. This is a good one for the skin care fiends :)
