this book is a delight. i feel so close to mary and so proud of her development through the book. itโs definitely joined my list of all time favs. my friend loaned me this copy and it had some underlining and notes in the margins that added magic to the reading experience. gonna have to buy my own to mark up โก๏ธ
At the moment I'm reading My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante and it has been lovely so far. Since taking this picture not even that long ago I got till half of the book. The character and her simultanious envy and admiration for a friend is beautifully written. I wonder if people think as much about me as I do about other people. I should probably stop thinking that...
