Identifies constellations, planets, stars, satellites. I’ve never really been into astronomy but this app has answered the question “what’s that bright ass star?” on many an evening walk (usually a planet). The interface is super cool, you just point your phone at the sky and it’s shows you what’s above you with overlaid animations. It makes me feel more connected to the stars when living somewhere with light pollution, and helps me identify constellations when I’m somewhere they’re fully visible. More fun when used with an old friend on the back porch. It does cost money but I think it’s worth it!

I love looking up at the stars every night, and it's one of those things that actually feels worth the snapshot. It feels cozy to recognize planets and stars (and our faithful friend Orion). It really never gets old for me, and even though the images aren't remarkable, looking back at them transports me to moments of simple special presence with myself.

I used to spend every night sitting outside looking up into the night sky trying to find constellations. I used to be so obsessed that I got my Mom to take me to a viewing conservatory with a giant telescope every week so I could see Mars in 4K. When that wasn't enough my mom got me a million and one books on constellations, moons and stars, and how to identify them along with a shiny new high tech telescope. I haven't used a lot of that stuff in years after we moved unfortunately. I learned very quickly that light pollution is a big issue once you move away from the trailer parks and into the suburbs, and any chance at seeing stars is squashed under someone's giganormous TV shining brighter than a Ford F150's headlights. Straight up archangel Michael coming to take me away during the rapture kind of brightness that these people are using. However I am nothing if not stubborn! I will find a way to use that big ol' telescope I have and I swear I'm gonna find every constellation, star and planet that passes overhead if it's the last thing I do!

I live in the countryside and at night the sky is truly spectacular. I spotted these three bright stars next to each other and knew it had to be a part of some constellation. Found out it was orion‘s belt! I was really Starstruck (ha ha pun intended). Anyway I highly recommend going out to place where you can see the stars and sit with them for a while😊

the best creative writing on the internet is on fragrantica.com
I could spend upwards of 3 hours scrolling through this website. I’m so obsessed with finding perfumes with notes I like (at the moment my favorites are bubblegum, sea water, and incense). I like to go to Scentbar (strictly the Hollywood location) and hand them my phone and show them all the perfumes on my Fragrantica account that I want to smell. I knowwww a scentbar employee hates to see me coming
