Ok I could actually go on and on….but let me start off by thanking my partner, Miles, and their family for putting me onto the Mets. I have never cared about baseball in my life until the 2024 Mets. I love this team so much and Pete Alonso holds such a special place in my heart (he’s actually thanked on my record). I love all the whimsy the Mets possess and all of the weird traditions they have. Miles and I carried a pumpkin around to every Mets game we went to because of Pete Alonso’s playoff pumpkin. I also think they’re so special to me because going to watch the games with my partner and their family really brought us so much closer together and I really cherish what it’s done for our bonding.

The idea of a Mets bandwagon fan is so surreal I love it. They always just kinda sucked growing up and sometimes I still don't believe that they're a legit contender. Bit of a renaissance for NY's orange and blue teams lately and the city is so much better for it

@GRAPE my favorite thing about the Mets is their prolific losing streak. growing up their ticket was so affordable, my family would go to games all the time. a half-empty Shea or Citi led to them offering so many home game traditions and mini-games and gimmicks to generate ticket sales!!! now win or lose, Club Mets is always the move

If you like going to the movies and have a selection of AMCs near you it’s an unbelievably good deal. Even at my most destitute I have refused to cancel this membership because it’s basically a free activity anytime and a fun little date with myself. 3 movies a week for $25/month??? I will never shut up about this.

Film Forum is the OG but Metrograph is younger and hungrier, with a more diverse slate of films and an emphasis on rediscovered or neglected classics. Great atmosphere too, with a restaurant and bookstore. you can’t go wrong!

I have been collecting CDs for as long as I can remember. I have about a hundred or so in my car right now. Whenever I’m on tour we like going in record stores and I always go straight to the CD collection. I’m extremely proud of my collection right now but I’m actually addicted to buying more…and people are always giving them to me because I think I’m one of the only people left with a CD player in their car…it’s a blessing

I could spend upwards of 3 hours scrolling through this website. I’m so obsessed with finding perfumes with notes I like (at the moment my favorites are bubblegum, sea water, and incense). I like to go to Scentbar (strictly the Hollywood location) and hand them my phone and show them all the perfumes on my Fragrantica account that I want to smell. I knowwww a scentbar employee hates to see me coming

I don’t think it should come as a surprise to anyone that I’m a massive Twilight fan. My older brother showed me Twilight when I was 9 and it changed the trajectory of my life. While the movies were coming out I would get Twilight memorabilia for Christmas every year. I still have a lot of those things (including one of my most prized possessions, a Bella Swan hair curler from the breaking dawn part 1 era), but I’m constantly scouring eBay and poshmark for more. My most recent find was the New Moon soundtrack on vinyl so that was pretty huge for me.
