i struggle sometimes to make myself clean when tired, sad, etc - enter one clorox wipe. no matter how low you feel or how big the mess it will always be an improvement to just take ten measly seconds and run one clorox wipe over the counter, or the sink, or your nightstand. one clorox wipe sometimes gives me the get-up-and-go for more tasks, but even if it doesn’t it always at least leaves things a little better than before
sometimes you gotta become your own wicked stepmother/cruel jail warden/bootcamp drill sergeant and force yourself to get in there with a bucket and a scrubby brush. an often overlooked spring cleaning item that is very much worth the time and effort because no, that stuff on the walls of your shower isn’t just “hard water,” it’s mildew. and mold. and there’s a lot of it.
