i have so many silly memories that happened while this song was playing and i think about all of them while i listen to it. i never skip this song when it comes on
ahhhhhh i love this song. i wouldn’t say it’s special to me for any particular reason at the moment, but i’ve just moved to a new city and i’ve been playing it literally every single time i drive anywhere or play any music at all. ITS SO GOOD!!! i just know for the rest of all time i’ll associate it with moving here, it’s like a not yet realised specialness!!!!!
this year was filled with a lot of making it up as i went along and reminding myself that i do, in fact, have plenty of time. i was figuring out where, who, or what felt right and what to do and how to do it etc, etc, and this song was just a calming anthem to return to. i also have fond memories of listening to it (maybe a little too much) during the summer, and i really miss those sweaty firefly filled nights. this was one of the first summers i’ve ever missed; i usually despise the heat. so, i feel like that stands for something.

I first heard this song when I was living in Richmond and fell in love with the entire album, too. 😍 I was working a temp job as an office assistant at a building products company, and they wanted to hire me on, but I had to take a drug test... I smoked weed every day like I'm done for... did everything I could to get it out of my system, and my boss told me randomly to take it!! went home and drank one of those potions that supposedly flushed your system ... i remember I listened to fiona apples Fast As You Can over and over on the way there so nervous 😭 anyways on the way home I played this song on repeat with the windows down it was sooo nice out (realizing that the memories I usually associate with my fav songs are having the window rolled down on a nice day 😄) car time by myself is my fav <3 It was a whole 30 min drive just me and Juno by Life Without buildings❤️🔥 (I miraculously passed and got hired on !!!)
