Outing myself as a total dork, if that wasn’t already apparent. I loved the books as a kid and read them a couple times through. The show was quite bad (and understandably cancelled), but one great outcome was her audiobook versions (at least the first 4 of the series). I don’t even like audiobooks, but Pike brings the story to life in a theatrical and charming way that makes them impossible to stop listening.
Not very cool girl of me but i’ve been meaning to watch the movies since forever and i couldn’t find them anywhere. So i found the audiobooks on spotify and here we are, listening to a grown man do weird voices for nine hours.
