sheās been my favorite mubi discovery and I ate up all her short films. just cool experimental animation stuff, some heavier than others. āAsparagusā and āJoy Streetā are my favorites. I think āAsparagusā is the only one streaming right now but a lot of her stuff comes back into the rotation.

Truly my avant-garde film goat. I recommend all her films. But if you were to only watch two short ones I would suggest āMeshes of the Afternoonā and āAt Landā. Overall her body of work and her story is worth looking into.
I recently acquired a book of matches from my parentsā wedding and have been using it to light my bedtime candle. thereās just something so satisfying about hitting just the right angle on the book to strike it and smelling that smoke!
