Incredibly niche and may be a Mac-only rec, but I've been really wanting to use Firefox containers to minimize tracking, but something I keep coming up against is that I always use cmd+t to open a new tab, but Firefox doesn't have a way of setting a new tab to open in the same container you're currently in (and having to click multiple things to do something as simple as opening a new tab is ridiculous). Solution: First, install the Easy Container Shortcuts Firefox extension and leave everything as is. Next, install Karabiner (it maps keys on your keyboard) and create a custom modification that maps cmd+t to cmd+opt+t (here’s the json!).

You're browsing the World Wide Webisphere and closed a tab by accident? CTRL+SHIFT+T will open it once more.
puts your cursor directly in your address bar. for a guy who's tabbing in and out of things at mach speed it's a gamechanger. honorable mention - cmd+t (new tab), its lover

I love opening webpages and links in a new tab, but some parts of the site don't allow for this function. for example, anytime I'm scrolling and want to open a rec or ask in a new tab, it instead just opens a new tab of the page I was just on. or it won't open at all, instead refreshing my current tab. I like to open in new tabs so I can keep my scrolling progress, being able to go down an unrelated rabbit hole in one tab while still continuing where I left off seeing what's being posted in the original!

if you buy some superglue and a pack of (strong) magnets you can make almost anything of a certain size into a magnet for your fridge! I don’t really like pins because idk what to do with them and have discovered just gluing a magnet to the back of them and putting them on my fridge! I had this epiphany while making clay magnets—an idea my friend had for a party at her house.
