That's not an exact quote... But yeah we had him explain more. That stronger and more intelligent humans are conceived in a way the government and clergy are against. Because the normal way makes more compliant citizens.

everyday i make an effort to tell at least 3 fake fun facts. it's silly goofy and doesn't hurt anyone but it opens up conversations and i find i make friends quickly with these "facts"

Loads on plenty of tables right? The world. Your country. Your family & friends. Right outside the door. Plenty inside the door. Then there's the junk on your ๐ง .
Do what you want. Some of the stuff you have to do needs done. Want to do it. But there's silly stuff or awesome things or scary/unlikely tbings. Do those. Got time and a desire to do nothing? It's okay to do nothing.
That's how a thinking creature copes. Keeping it in never does anyone any good.
