Recently moved into my own place with my partner and i can’t stop baking!!! Growing up my mum did the classic taiwanese thing of “treat the oven like storage” move so i never got to try my hand at baking. As someone who loves following instructions tho i’ve always felt like i would love it and i was right lol! My partner and i made cream puffs the other day and were immediately humbled by the time-management aspect — everything took longer than i thought it would and we stayed up past midnight to finish everything 🥴 worth it though to have a batch of DELICIOUS cream puffs!!! I mean JUST LOOK at those lil’ guys!!!

it's become a weekly tradition of mine to bake something on wednesday evenings while my favorite d&d show is live, and its so fun to make new things and realize that they aren't that tough to make (most of the time)! i made biscotti for the first time ever yesterday and they weren't perfect, but they weren't nearly as tough to make as i imagined!

i went on a lot of walks during the pandemic lockdown and started noticing a lot of houses with peculiar windows. Like these very specific triangle windows, skinny windows, and teeny tiny attic windows. Have u seen any peculiar-ly shaped windows???

Rock beaches are so underrated! i went on a trip recently with some friends and almost all the beaches we visited were rock beaches. Crouching down to watch and listen to the ocean wash over a bed of rocks over and over again was so peaceful and reminded me of how small we all are.

Love this thing. Bought it for under $5 and it has two compartments — one that has a lid that flips open from the top and one that fully opens up sideways. I keep my main cards in the lidded compartment and i keep my secondary cards (library card, transit pass, grocery store points cards, etc.) in the second compartment. BONUS is the nice smooth surface that makes it perfect for stickers!!!
