I hate nerds that can’t explain why something is useful knowledge to them 😡 if you’re a Car Guy/Horse Girl typa nerd, I do not respect you for losing your shit over That New Bugatti™️ or That Pretty Horse™️, unless you can compellingly tell me why the fuck you care about this fucking thing so goddamn much. If dedicated nerds can make Star Wars seem like the greatest story ever told, or extrapolate for centuries on the meaning of dust-covered ancient art, why can’t these fucks make majestic ancient animals or feats of human engineering sound more compelling than “I just love them so much”?
