I’m not completely sure if I understand the question but here are my thoughts!!
For making journals look nice, I really like to make collages from magazines and books I find at the thrift store. That + stickers and different colored markers can make your journals and planners more fun!! Find your own style and what makes you happy :)
For just keeping the motivation and consistency to regularly use a journal/planner in the first place, I just try to keep a template for each day (like a to-do list, or formatting my notes a specific way). I do most of my planning via Notion, so if you want a digital planner, I think it’s pretty useful!!
