In 2017, I took a spill while on a run. I stuck my hands out to catch myself but was moving so quickly that I just scraped my whole body across the pavement ā face first. I still have a scar on my upper lip from where the concrete scraped me.
I was in shock and happy I still had my teeth. I had also just started a new job, so I was between insurances and without dental, so Iām glad I didnāt really mess myself up. Instead of going to a doctor, I went out for drinks with a friend lol.

šFirst of all the key is to not get hit. That way nothing bad actually happens to you, it just almost does. Works best if itās not your faultā good reason to get pissed off, great story to tell when you get home, etc. Youāll find this has actually happened to a lot of people

On halloween night, I ran into my friend dylan at the bus stop for a bus that never came. We all decided to walk home together and he told us that he had been walking for over 3 miles because he and his friends were too drunk to drive home from a party. (and lucky him! he got to walk home for even longer since the bus didnāt come) He talked about his 3 mile journey and how he kept hearing cayotes which really made him really pick up the pace, he was practically running home. Iāve never seen more drunk fear in someoneās eyes than dylan talking about the cayotes, āthe cayotes mannnn they were after meā
