This book has been a very eclectic experience, in the way that when I read this book I feel like I am not only learning about the characters, but I am also learning things about myself. For example, this book shed light on a very harsh reality we live in.
I would say that this book is not the best though. At times I feel like this book can be a little bit to confusing of what the characters are doing. But when it's not confusing it's a very fun read. I would say my favorite part of this book is the exposition between characters.
This book reminded me why books can also just make such great games, and how games and book share so much more similarities than even books and movies. Because subtleties that occur in books can be brought to life much better in a game, rather than a movie. This thought came to me when I was thinking how cinematic of a game this book would be if it was made.
This is my first Murakami novel, and I am thoroughly enjoying it and have no qualms. I feel like his writing style is from like a introspection master, so I will be excited to read his other books.
