honestly out of all the social media that steals my information and exploits my attention span for profit, YouTube has been my favourite one.
it's pretty good when you completely ignore the existence of YouTube Shorts and just use it before short-form videos were a thing (for me, that's video essays and artist/travel vlogs).

🎥The best movie theater in New York seats 35. See a movie here you know nothing about and you will be inspired. For me most recently it was a screening of Dave Wascavage’s Suburban Sasquatch. Simple Town has been lucky enough to play videos here twice. The first night was packed, the second night we sold two tickets, and both nights were perfect.

🫂prioritize seeing friends and family over your to-do list. since I live in another country, I learned to do that anytime I have a chance.
