I return to this comment under Hiroshi Yoshimura’s Dance PM when I need a good cry. He chose this song to play during his father’s funeral. Also reminded me of Chia Amisola’s Sound of Love project. Shuffles random songs overlaid with wistful YouTube comments.
Old Sufjan B side, one of my favorites. I return to this video a lot, a fanmade slice of life gem from 2006. feels exactly like growing up in rural Montana, I don’t think I’ve seen anything that transports me in quite the same way.
I wish I could re-rec with an image but this is in reply to @MARIAMARIA’s rec. I had to dig way back in my photos to 2022 and find the clay cow tools I made. Unfortunately, I abandoned them so they never got fired but maybe I’ll re-visit the project once I can afford pottery classes again.
