bjork in depth about all 10 of her studio albums as rollout for utopia—running this back album for album,, finally digging into volta rn—really interesting progression of her career,, i feel like this woman can do anything and it comes out so brilliantly no matter how sloppy or goofy it is she just so perfectly imperfect (haha) in this podcast she rambles through the whimsy in each album and its just sm fun to listen to
Anytime I need to be soothed or particularly inspired I’ll type in “Bjork documentary” on YouTube and either watch the one that is the making of Medulla or the one where she’s talking to David Attenborough. I also watch her old live shows a lot. I will really watch any video that has anything to do with her. I love the way she’s so carnal and wild and elemental but also holds this trust in divination - I feel like she merges both polarities of what it is to be a human so beautifully.
For people who spend as much time together as we do,, there’s such little photos of us together—i love this man an inexplicable amount these are from a couple of weeks ago when we went to Maboneng for some chicken dust n skopo (fuckn good jozi cuisine)—felt soo good just being niggas in the dust—it had been a while and then we ended up at a Go Skate Day afterparty punk show in Newtown and had the best time we’ve had being outside in a whileee,, such a good saturday
