I am not usually one to rec specific cosmetic products, or to go for a “no makeup” makeup look, but somehow glossier grip is the EXACT same shade as my lips, and I really like it. In this photo I am wearing it only on my lip line, and no other makeup at all. It’s pretty nice - and it doesn’t look crazy when it’s worn away either ! ! (idk if somehow I have a freakishly glossier-friendly lip shade though or if their other colors are as natural for other people!)(bonus: a comic about it)
gonna be sooo honest but i really like the simplicity and sheer (matte and satin) finishes of glossier’s products, cant go wrong and cant lay it down too heavy which i like! i rarely wear makeup so when i do i dont like bold payoff and colour :^)
As much as I would love to gatekeep this, I am a GOOD PERSON. Hydrating, buildable, looks absolutely fantastic on every single skin tone, do not be afraid of the darkness of the shade it can be applied lightly. Literally sponsor me Glossier, I've gotten so many people to buy this.
people have been doing this forever and i never thought i was a liner girl until just last year i found nyx in Ever is basically the color of my bottom lip and it's just a really flattering pink on me and i love just lining and then just smoothing it out and boom. if my lips are dry ill add a translucent gloss but usually my liner is just enough.
Gazpacho only in the late summer, persimmons only in the winter, etc. just because we can import anything from anywhere anytime doesn’t mean we should. Nothing is special if you can have it whenever you want it.
