The loudest place in the world, so many familiar faces. somewhere you go to discover which mildly attractive guy from your high school has decided to become a lifeguard. but the swim in the adult pool and the tan after make it all worth it.
I suggest you bring a hometown friend+ a college friend who is clueless.
Def bring a huge book you def won’t read and the most niche snack you can find in Trader Joe’s.
The public pool offers you the ultimate soundtrack to summer - the splash of the water and the constant loop of children screaming and laughing. It’s the perfect spot to bring your book or take a nap in the sun and then cool off in the crisp clean water (in comparison to the beach). Also last time I went I tried the waterslide. Something so awesome about lining up for a slide with 8 year olds and 50+ year olds.
Laying out in my cute swimsuit and one airpod in with the general ambiance of childhood pool summers past in the background…the smell of sunscreen…a lightly interesting book….yeah.! None of my problems are very large at all
Literally, just trying so hard, too hard in life. I don’t know why it’s so frowned upon. But there is nothing wrong with it. I‘d rather accept failure after trying hard than be defeated as a result of my own laziness. One thing I love about this platform is that you can take a break from trying too hard, and just share what you wanna share. I already have 1 million different platforms, where I try to be famous and seen by others, It’s nice to just take a break from all of that.
