Rarely is a television network bold enough to make an hour long comedy TV show. For USA (or whichever off-brand channel) decided to make 6+ seasons and multiple movies of this one. Its magnificent. Shawn and Gus are lifelong best friends who consistently make cops look incompetent and catch murderers. The space that the hour long slot gives to the storyline is magnificent -- nothing is rushed, everything breathes. i watched this back in high school and then just found season 2 on DVD. Been watching it before bed and it never fails to make me laugh
if i had a comfort sitcom, this would be it :,) sadly it only has two short seasons, so i've seen every episode at least 10 times. (if you're going to watch it, make sure to look up the right episode order because it aired out of order.) when i'm at a loss for what i want to watch, i put it on. somehow despite having seen it a bajillion times, the gags still land. there's also something so inherently 2000s about it with its slightly outdated jokes and energy that i find charming. it's the same way i feel about 2 broke girls. it's just fun hjinks with people who are kind of messed up!!!
i’d always watch psych, castle, and white collar with my parents and they’re just soooo good.
psych is abt this guy who has v amazing observation skills and pretends to be psychic to work w the police to get out of trouble w them lol. v good and it’s just like, what happens when the bit goes too far castle is abt a writer who works w a hot lady detective and its v will they won’t they energy. super fun in nyc white collar is my FAVORITE i rewatched it with my partner a few years ago and its just mwah! matt bomer and willie garson (rip <3) are con men working w the fbi, also in nyc, to solve v slay artworld adjacent crimes. matt bomer plays an art forger who is insanely skilled at his craft. it’s not violent rly it’s just fun and quirky and i’d highly recommend
I think the characters in the Mentalist are fun. Simon Baker is a good lead as well. The long overarching story is quite fun too. Had a lot of fun doing a watch of that whole thing last year.
Young Sheldon is actually good once you get past the Jim Parsons narration. If you're predisposed to liking sitcoms, I think you'll dig. I watched like eight episodes in one night the other day. I lowkey love procedurals/copaganda TV so honorable mentions are: Elementary, original CSI (you'll recognize everyone), Lucifer and Without a Trace.
im trash with graphic design but shit it ain’t that hard to draw some shit and scan it in - and just like anything else handmade people know it took time and effort. + the mistakes are really just wabi sabi when you think about it
At the risk of sounding like a basic bitch, this shit is so real. Going down your chart on co-star and breaking down the individual aspects of your personality and reflecting on how to adapt & change is so fascinating. I love it
