Let your artist friend open a gallery in one of your spaces. Help them curate, clean, scrub, paint, build, host. Support your friend‘s crazy dreams and be endlessly happy in their achievements.
Finally after what seems like a life time The Armpit Gallery is opening May 16th at 7pm. A group of midwest artists will be showcasing their art along with the curator and my friend Jacquelyn Fay.
I am so proud of all the work we’ve put into this space!!
in 2022, we road-tripped to DC for a mix of business and pleasure. we wound up bringing our dog Momo—who in addition to seeing the White House—also got to see one of my final projects at The Hirshhorn Museum! this installation was my largest ever: a four-story 360-degree pastel commissioned by Nicholas Party, enlarged and printed on scrim to cover up the building façade renewal. i know we are supposed to be humble about our work and not be overly celebratory, but I’m immensely proud of this project and treasure this photo of me and Momo so much!
Listen to Michael Bluth, breakfast really is the most important thing next to family. For some reason I didn’t eat breakfast for the first half of my life and I’m pretty sure that’s why I had a five second attention span growing up. Pair breakfast with a stretch and you’ll probably have a pretty good day. Couldn’t recommend it more.
