A chunk of shell

But not a pretty one. One that has a bit of shine and a craggily shape. Clearly something had lived in this but that creature is gone and now this little piece of shield has washed up on the beach, My soul would be something you'd want to pick up, wash-off in the water fountain on your way to the parking lot and keep on your desk.

read a short story collection

I don't think that short story collections are appreciated enough, and beyond being fun to read, they are the best way to get out of a reading slump. My top three favs are Her Body and Other Parties by Carmen Maria Machado, Homesick for Another World by Ottessa Moshfegh and Nineteen Claws and a Blackbird by Agustina Bazterrica :) they have all left such an impact on me

This song reminds me of when I was in Turkey, at my grandparents house over the summer. I would listen to this song on repeat at the beach, and at night while stargazing.
