Last night my friend had an intervention with me about overplanning so we invented Spontaneous Night. We just left his house and walked a random direction. We decided we’d go wherever we were recommended by whoever we chatted with. Discovered new shops, ran into random people, texted folks to hang out, had a fab dinner, ended with a board game. It is great to be in community and present with your friends! Spontaneous Night!

In 2024 I'm cancelling as many streaming services as I can and turning to the video store instead. I'm a member at Videotheque and Vidiots in LA. 1. I find my watching to be way more intentional renting a DVD or Blu-Ray. I have to return it so I have to watch it and this is what I picked.

3. If I pay late fees I feel like I am making a charitable donation.
4. Video store clerks are so cool!
An indestructible device and my favorite piece of tech. I only read on this and it has increased my reading so much. I banished my phone from my bedroom and read before bed and when I wake up. You can borrow e-books from Libby and send it to your Kindle or f/w Kindle Unlimited. On the 11th gen you can change the warmth of the screen light so you're not looking at blue light before bed. Love this damn thing.
