pretty sick is an ultra-underrated band. so good. i have been held in a chokehold by ms. sickysab since 2020 when i discovered deep divine (and thought this band was some niche indie rock group from the 90s) makes me sick makes me smile has zero skips. i need them to go on another tour and drop some new music immediately, it is so serious.
I saw them open for The Front Bottoms and have been hooked on them ever since. The singers, Tyler and Harlow, both have such distinct voices that work so well with one another. It's honestly addicting to listen to them sing together. Highly recommend them if you're looking for a midwest emo or indie rock sound.
the chokehold this band has on me right now is wild. the range of this mid-western group, from heavy noise guitar to soft twangy country-esque songs puts them high up there for me as one of the best current rock bands.

there is actually no way iβm the only person to have this answer. watching the interstellar imax re-release a decade after i first watched it on the tiny tv my parents had in the living room had me feeling things i hadnβt felt since that initial watch as a weird little space-obsessed 8 (?) year old.
