I’ve been away from my husband for a week and every day I’ve written him a post card. He hasn’t checked the mail yet and I’m coming home tomorrow but it’s nice to feel like he’s wherever I am when I write him sweet nothings and send little doodles. We can text and call and facetime but this still makes me feel closer to him. Everything digital will be one day be lost but paper feels permanent.
writing is a beautiful thing. what if the mail service loses your letter? what if your recipient throws it away? don’t let your words be lost forever. next time you write a postcard or letter, write it again.
