This and Einmal um die Weit by Cro are my favourite German songs. Also the band made an English version called 99 red balloons because this song was so popular.
I would listen to 99 Luftballons by Nena which is pretty popular when looking for German songs I would say and Das Model by kraftwerk (really anything from kraftwerk)

Great film directed by Gurinder Chadha. About a British Indian girl who joins a women's football team which her parents don't approve of. This film made waves for British Asian representation. It does a great job of balancing social commentary with comedy.
