Industrial and dark wave is not that good This is coming from someone who's favorite genres include hardcore, gabber, all techno, trance, etc...so don't come at me with "u just don't like electronic durr "
My first experience with "industrial" was Yeezus which I hated but I don't think that's really considered industrial music.. love me some darkwave though
I just Love the whole scene from aesthetics to attitude. Itβs gritty, itβs dirty, and it captures a desolate youth provoking through their existence and experimenting with what they have. Besides, I always used to say I played Pots and pans when anyone asked.
They are dark, gothic, sexy, and you can dance to them.
Cream of the crop electronic music. Masters of New Wave. Influential, alternative, transformative. A heavy atmosphere pervades over all. They are still here, equal parts timeless, dated and in constant flux. They're not perfect, but it's their love for roughness (in more ways than one) why they are so captivating.
With them you'll learn what being cool through more than three decades means.
Start with their album Violator and go from there.
