the “wisdom of the fool” is a literary paradox in which a character recognized as a fool comes to be seen as possessing unexpected wisdom or insight. this character often captures what intellectualism fails to reveal of a thing’s meaning or significance.
some of my favorite examples include charlie kelly from IASIP, comedian nate bargatze, and twitter account @dril.
