The past three days I have gone on bike rides with my 80 year old grandfather. He leads the way. We saw some chemtrails over cranberry bogs, he took me to his blind friends house, when we went past a speedometer and he clocked 12mph , I said he almost broke it and he nearly fell of his bike with laughter.
Get out and feel the speed, the wind in your hair, the pain in your lungs and quads and ass, the growing awareness that you are rapidly aging and soon will die, but you don’t care, you have a shirt with some kind of muscle car on it that says “I’m not old, I’m classic” and your wife rolls her eyes but she knows it’s true, you’re a goddamned legend. I recommend that.
i didn't set out to do this, i was just doing my thing when I came across this metric on Strava cool to think ive moved my body that far... 10,000 next year?
