The movie about Joaquin Phoenix. Feel like everyone has seen this but my boyfriend and I just watched it today for the first time and we were laughing our little arses off!!!!
I cried leaving the theater when this finished, critically underrated performance from Joaquin Phoenix, and I think this movie just went under so many people’s radars - if you like Mike Mills other movies, you HAVE to see this one
I went to see this for the first time at the special brunch showing at nitehawk a few months ago and I still think about it. It was a theater full of men + me and we were all giggling for most of the movie. Loved it!
Terrifying animated horror that had me completely engrossed the entire time. If you’re looking for something more lighthearted, try Millenium Actress or Tokyo Godfathers. Highly recommend the satoshi kon catalogue
