I always felt alienated from people for not quite fitting in and all I ever wanted was to be normal. My therapist told me that thereâs no such thing and that I shouldnât compare myself to other people in that way because no two people have the same experiences, which felt like condescending gaslighting to me at the time but Iâve come to believe she was right. Instead of chasing unattainable normalcy, Iâve started to see myself as extraordinaryâout of the ordinary. Itâs empowering to embrace my idiosyncratic nature and recognize that my peculiarities are what make me unique. So if youâve ever felt out of place, remember: being extraordinary means youâre living a life that only you can live đ„č
I think that not being suited for the masses shows that you are being true to yourself ! You are weird ! So what ? At the end of the day we are all unique so technically we are all the same ! You need to see your neighbor as a reflection of yourself ! What Iâm trying to say is that you donât have to prove yourself being you is already a proof of your existence !
taking time to notice how unique you are is honestly great for your mental health, realizing that even if there are a lot of people who share your interests they're not you and they never could be, is very important in actualizing individuality and self expression
I truly love EVERYTHING! âš Maybe one tiny rec: it would be awesome to add an integrated Microsoft Paint style doodling tool or pixelation feature for pics before posting as it could add a bit of personal bling. đ But Iâm not sure if that would complicate things... đšđïž
Itâs digital. Iâm not against it, but I donât use AI for my art. Just Procreate, Artstudio Pro and generally my own brushes. I got inspired by Friedrich Amerlingâs work.
