truly a perfect movie about summer, sun, and female friendship. reminds me of when my sister and i had the dvd and i distinctly remember the talking star fish earrings and 2000s shopping montage. we need more movies about mermaids
Literally the platonic ideal of the rom com. Itโs a bit of a satire a bit of the real thing, nice bright colors and Ewan McGregor. None of the sad hysteria of the rom coms from that era, thankfully ๐ quite the opposite
