Sun June is my fav band of all time. Small following but deserving of so much more. I think Somewhere is my fav album of theirs but I’ve been enjoying their newer stuff as well. Lowkey want them to blow up??? But also guilty pleasure of mine is that they stay my hidden little secret??? Charlie Sztyk is one of my best friends and his music is so so so so so so so good. The Arc, Pt. 1 & 2 is such a huge album for me and I’ve listened through it at least a hundred times. Seamstress is a band made by Gabi & Charlie Sztyk (she’s another best friend of mine, lol). Rumor has it she’s got new music coming out 👀 She’s like Lucy Dacus but at least 3X better. Weak Too is my fav song. I’ve cried to it often. Squirrel Flower did a cover of ‘So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings’ that I played on repeat for a week straight. I ended up jumping into the rest of her discography and haven’t regretted it at all. Sad but not in a depressing way? Enjoy!
Harvest Moon- Neil Young
No One Noticed - The Marias
Love Songs- Clairo
Wildflower- Beach House
I Follow You - Melody’s Echo Chamber this time of year is for me to yearn. something nostalgic, full of potential and just in reach yet will never be grasped.
* cherry flavored - the neighborhood
very "summer sunset" sort of song, holds a lot a good memories for me :')
* when did i lose it all - pale waves
more of a yearning vibe, but romantic to me nonetheless
* aqua regia - sleep token
my favorite song ever maybe. more on the poetic/metaphorical side, but still fantastic
* i love you - riopy
this one is a piano instrumental but it is the most moving, yearning-filled song i've ever heard
"Joe McNally’s photograph of biochemist Nakshatra Reddy of Mumbai, who prefers wearing traditional clothing, and her daughter Meghana, a model more comfortable in a catsuit of her own design.."
