I was recently shown the TV show Friday Night Lights (I know I’m very late in the game) and I am obsessed. Def recommend this if you like entertaining and heartfelt TV.

also it’s genuinely a miracle that I’ve found a TV show so compelling and attention grabbing because I have not finished a modern show in forever, my attention span for some reason will not allow me to finish a whole show, even succession which I loved.
but I’m yet to watch the final season and I have binged this in the matter of about a week so far and I’m loving it. plays out like a crime paperback that you can’t put down, even if the writing and pacing can be a bit clunky, I literally don’t care, the writing and performances always have me hooked.
NOW I WANNA WATCH MORE TV- I’ve barely watched any classic shows especially from the 2000s HBO era so please give me recommendations that are as investing as this please!

Heard a lot about it (Emmy nominated) but never gave it a shot until last night. Anytime A24 puts something out I try and watch, and I am thoroughly pleased w this show through two episodes. Excited for more

Season 1 episode 4, jimmy and bunk do a whole 5min scene using only variations of the word fuck.
The Sopranos season 1 episode 5, “college” Tony takes Meadow to visit some colleges in Maine, perfect.
The Last of Us episode 3, “long long time” shaking crying incredible.
Friday Night Lights season 1 ep 20, “mudbowl” even if you don’t care about football this show is so good (except s2 bc writers strike).

Clark street diner is a new diner that took over the 101 Coffee Shop (aka cafe 101). I grew up going to cafe 101 so it has a special place in my heart. Even though it closed, the diner that took over is really delicious and perfect for pancakes, eggs, really good coffee and pastries. I love going there and sitting at the counter.

Mashti Malones is an incredible Iranian ice cream shop located in Hollywood. Most of their flavors are floral/fruit/herbal based. They import herbs and spices from Lebanon and India. They import saffron from Iran and use it to color their ice creams! All the colors are natural, and the ice cream is really delicious.

Bull terriers have been my favorite kind of dog since I was very young. They are extremely loyal, emotional, and super energetic. They bring me so joy. I recommend them as a pet/friend.
