I loved Stuart Little growing up and just rewatched it. Me and both of my sisters are weirdly obsessed with it. I still tear up at the scene when Stuart is racing his model boat in Central Park and Jonathan Lipnicki who plays his brother goes “That’s not a mouse, that’s my brother!!!”. Awesome scene. I think we need more earnest movies like Stuart Little. It’s a biblical tale that shows you how anyone can do anything, even if the world just sees them as some little mouse 👍 Zootopia is another one of my favorites.

Shit makes me cry every time. If you haven’t watched this since you were a kid it’s definitely worth the rewatch.

this is just one of those pieces of lost media from childhood thats randomly stored in my brain next to disney channel bumpers and skits from “now, a word from us kids!” it’s from a croatian animated feature called Lapitch the Little Shoemaker and i really think the visual style and music holds up. they truly did not have to go so hard for a cartoon about a mouse that went straight to VHS and barely anyone would see but THEY DID 😭🫶🏼

My school did a workshop about it when I was like 10 and I think the amount of care and dedication it takes to hand crafting each and every frame is so cool. When its done well you get a really stylised films, I’m thinking like Chicken Run, Wallace and Gromit, Coraline, Fantastic Mr. Fox, ParaNorman and The Box Trolls all of which I loved as a kid and every time I rewatch them I get the same sense of childlike wonder I did when I watched them the first time. I know there’s a lot of crossover with CGI now when making them but just the concept of stop motion animation is really cool.

U can sit in the hottest sauna in the city then go smoke a nice cigarette (or joint if u smoke kush) and wash it all down with a nice foreign beer and hot borscht soup. cold plunge smells a lil funky but it's worth it

Corto is a coffee shop in Bed-Stuy and my go to if I’m in the area. I do a lot of work there and they now stay open a little later and started serving wine and “small bites”. They have the best Fococcia I’ve ever had in my life and subsequently some of the best sandwiches. Fair warning - it is $15 bucks for something that will not fill you up - but it’s totally worth it. Their backyard is perfect and isn't one of those places that has the annoying ass “NO LAPTOPS ALLOWED” sign at the front. (Ok they do have it but that’s just for weekends)
