Adding an alt review in letterboxd

I’ve struggled with the decision to express my actual thoughts or have a funny line for quite a while. This way you can divulge into intelligentsia and then have a quip as a little button. Also, I think the formatting in italics is to die for.
Minutely related: I saw The Taste of Things and do recommend it!

early evening Edible and iced coffee accented by some SPIRITUAL jazz

A joint and a coffee is conventionally accepted as a “hippy speedball;” but given that I’ve quit smoking (my formerly beloved cigarettes, in particular) for all intents and purposes over the last couple years…edibles are my preferred method of marijuana ingestion (if any). Regardless of how you do it…the up and down is beloved for a reason. Mix in a little spiritual jazz…Pharoah Sanders’ golden age is my favorite, personally…now you’re cooking, ladies and germs. Just don’t overdo it on dosage. Then you’ll be feeling way too spiritual and the lightness is tarnished.

Such a haunting, devastatingly beautiful piece of acoustic brilliance from the late-great outlaw country singer-songwriter. People like him and Townes Van Zandt truly elevated the genre to a form of high art with their gorgeous, lived-in lyricism.

The first day after being sick

Such a beautiful feeling. You go from being fully ensconced in feeling terrible and not seeing the forest for the trees and thinking this is your life now to…boom, back to normal and life is great. Appreciate it. You now have a new lease on existence!
