Didnāt think Iād ever be cool with āoutside pantsā in my bed, but here we are. Kind of fun to be a rockstar about it, and the t-shirt additions to my wardrobe are a plus. Not sure what I expected - Iām dating Nick Hadad, after all.
Just thrown together because itās super hot and I didnāt want my legs out today. Outfits like this remind me just how much I love my closet, even when itās not a curated fit itās cool!
Iām rocking the oversized t shirt small short combo that reeks of a southern state school, but with the fit and essence of a queer person in Brooklyn. maybe even Nashville? idk. Black van halen t shirt Iāve had since high school that somehow still fits, purple menās Abercrombie athletic shorts (a summer favorite) and a dream
Iāve been trying to wear like actual clothes around the house lately because i like to keep the curtains open at my big picture window which faces the street. I ran out of easy lazy outfits so I wore:
* vintage Canned Heat World Boogie Tour T-shirt (it was my momās best friendās shirt and itās one of the only T-shirts I own and wear⦠pictured is a picture I found of it on poshmark but itās not mine I was too lazy to take a picture lolā¦)
* 7 for All Mankind high waisted olive green crepey skinny pants with elasticated waist and ankles? I donāt know how to describe these they are not quite a jogger but theyāre very comfortable cute and easy to move around in
I wanted to get a vintage flip phone to use on my days off, and ended up discovering that 2G and 3G service is basically obsolete within the US. Luckily, I found a cute phone that runs on 4G and even made some cute trinkets for it. I leave my iPhone at home during my morning walks, and on my days off, Iām only on my burner. I thought I needed a vacation until I started using my flip phone - 10/10, would recommend. Why the flip phone? There are countless reasons. I think about this experiment often.
Not sure why I didnāt learn how to do this earlier. My music taste slaps - it feels like Iāve spent my entire life compiling an extensive music library, and itās finally getting put to good use, gracing more than just the ears of me and my friends. Youāre welcome.
Leisure Centre is a vintage shop on Hester Street in the Lower East Side. Frank, the owner, is a really cool, interesting dude - and his shop reflects that. Itās impossible to walk in there and not find something you like. Itās well-curated and well-priced; everything is a steal. I do damage every time I visit⦠my wardrobe is slowly turning into only pieces Iāve found here.
