Didn’t take a pic but I met up with a friend at the dog park and then took our children (lol) to Pete’s Takos and then got coffee. Very excellent morning.
-hastily made guac
-flour tortilla tacos with whatever's in the fridge. cheese, leftover rice, beans, chopped up lettuce, jalapeno and a variety of salsas/hot sauces
If anyone even gives a crap.
Cured king salmon, crème fraiche vinaigrette, capers, dill, toasted breadcrumbs, lemon zest, calabrian chile oil. Inspired by Liv’s on 2nd street in Long Beach
The sweet resonant coo from nearby my bedroom window seems to have followed me from Brooklyn, NY to Long Beach, CA… Its persistent cadence, has become a point of fixation, a symbol of some continuity across landscapes.
