you will get all the inspiration you ever need out of archival magazines. My favorite eras are the 60s-90s because the ads slap stylistically even though they’re sometimes entirely misogynistic. My favorite old magazines are playboy, naturally, architectural digest, and this other home mag called apartment life. You can buy a stack of like 10 on eBay for $20 or so and it’s totally worth it.

I loooooooove looking through a physical copy of arch digest for interior design inspiration. Everything in there is too damn expensive but they’re nice to look at lol. Also please comment other magazines of the same vibe I love print media it should not be a dying medium!

Also very into scooping 2000s issues of more mainstream magazines (rolling stone, esquire, gq, vogue, cosmo, vanity fair, maxim) if i see them at the thrift or used bookstore!
