PC Music prodigy Namasenda deserves all the flowers in the world. Her electronic exploration on 2023’s “Ambrosia” EP is transcendental and 2021’s “Unlimited Ammo” LP is a shelled-out banger! Take this as a universial sign to dip your feet into some new candy-colored synths. Thank me later.

If you haven't heard about her already, please allow this rec to be your formal introduction to this Canadian hidden gem. Nemah Hasan (aka Nemahsis) is a Palestinian-Canadian singer-songwriter from Milton, Ontario who is creating some beautifully poignant music that goes beyond your standard catchy alt-pop. The thought put into everything from her music videos to the actual lyricism of her songs has so many layers of meaning that it's impossible not to rewatch and relisten to her work to fully experience all those levels of subtext. Her latest album, Verbathim, releases September 13th and I'm genuinely excited to hear what she's been working on. In the meantime, if you'd like to get an amuse-bouche of her music, give a listen to: stick of gum i wanna be your right hand coloured concrete you wore it better This gal is legit so underrated. I hope you enjoy her music as much as I have :)

Working out is a proven dopamine booster. Why not maximize your slay and exorcise your inner demons while at it? Maybe cry a lil? You will feel better.

Visully Stunning. Audibly redundant. There are other Gaga masterpieces to go around.

Chromatica is still bad. But I’m giving Maggie Rogers another shot with her 2019 debut “Heard It In A Past Life.” Her version of Dance Pop is underrated and I’m sorry for my child mind.
