I love letterboxd. It’s a movie rating and reviewing platform. anyone can write a review which is pretty cool. I love writing little reviews on there as well. you can also make specific lists of films or follow other people’s lists.

I love watching a movie, logging it, leaving my little review, and then reading what my follows thought. Did they like it? Did they hate it? Are there funny quips? Thoughtful essays? It's the one site were I'm rather indiscriminate with my follows. If the top four is interesting, I want to know what they think of the movies.

I‘m wondering why we stopped having blogs and writing essays? I want to hear people’s thoughts. I want to share my thoughts! and I don’t want to see these thoughts in a few sentences on twitter or a short Instagram post. I need to share this list I made because it is such a blessing to me that I can just open youtube or vimeo and watch these lovely little movies. there’s a range of them like bergman, tarkovsky, polish films, art-house, weird matthew gray gubler short, experimental horror, short films from the 20’s. how fun.
