I recently had to start tracking my periods because of a cyst that burst! My roommate told me about this app and it records every part of your cycle: period, follicular, ovulation, and luteal. It tells you what kind of "witch" you are. This means where your period falls based on moon phases. I'm a white witch. You can share your cycle with your partner and your friends. It also sends the most accurate notifications like "If you woke up with less than 5 pimples on your face, consider today a win." I woke up with 3 that morning.

Maybe I’m being a bit paranoid, but I do not trust any app to have my information in that way anymore.
If you experience a menstrual cycle and have not gotten into the habit of tracking it, not only is it a relatively easy thing to do, you learn so much about yourself through the process. I have been tuning in for years now and it’s really easy for me to know what phase I am in with certain cues from my body. I just use a physical calendar now to mark the beginning of my menstruation and the end, and I mark down where I suspect I’m ovulating. This is very valuable information always, but it seems could be valuable for our safety in current times as well. Let’s hope I’m wrong!

I got my period at about 4am this morning, 2 days after winter solstice and the day after a full moon. the sybolism of it all, the kismet of it all. i've ended up going inwards in a way I don't often during my period. i welcomed her instead of groaning under the effort. i've decided to see it as cleansing, grounding, enveloping, slowing. i coccooned myself and treated myself right. i dragged my mattress into the garden and stared at the sky for 3 hours. i did """self care""". i feel good. i feel grateful to women who came before me and battled this with less than I have.
