I’m moving across the country soon and have been giving away some of my stuff for free. It’s a quick way to get things out of your space and makes people happy.
Trying to sell cheap items like christmas lights or an old ps4 controller on marketplace feels petty.

I don't think our spaces are meant to stay the same forever. And if you buy things used you won't feel bad selling it for something else used at some point. 1-2 times a year I sell and swap out a few items of furniture and then rearrange. It does wonders for the brain and sparking creativity/joy.

Also if you have a trust fund you should be donating your stuff, not selling a 4 year old couch with a 5% discount
