My career is in city planning and everyday I see so many cool old buildings that are dilapidated or in disrepair. It's so incredibly sick when things like old tobacco barns, mills, etc. get renovated into libraries, food halls, housing, or offices. More developers & landowners should do this

We have the new modern fancy one and thatβs cool but the old one takes up a whole block and has good history and would be unique and everyone loves nostalgia rn and it would be like βare you Jets or Sharks?β but itβs just multi-use building allegiances so the stakes are low.

The Silent Patient- Alex Michaelides .. maybe a more well known suggestion.. if you were cool with Gone Girl, etc. still good.
Night Film: A Novel - Marisha Pessl .. dark creepy thriller. Good if you are a fan of horror films/general weirdness.
Dept. Q series - Jussi Adler-Olsen ... Nordic(ish) mystery . Cold cases. Some darker than others. Also have been made into films.
7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle - Stuart Turton...more Agatha Christie vibe. Like an escape room, in book form.
