the first 1/5 of the book I found the protagonist so frustratingly pathetic, but by the time I finished I felt like haruki murakami had written the book specifically for me

I’m about 1/5th of the way through as well. Protagonist feels like every Murakami protagonist at this point, which is a good thing for me lol
