i’m enraptured. i’ve got mushroom coasters, and there’s a large unfinished mushroom puzzle sitting on my coffee table rn. they’re so weird yet so visceral - you have to love ‘em.
These are at my favourite cafe I work from sometimes. Dying to know where I could get my own. Life’s too short not to love your surroundings, even the little things
So this is a weird thing I’ve started to do.I feel like I’m never fully satisfied with my mugs and espresso / cappuccino cup situation. It’s either too design forward, or too quirky. My most recent solution has been finding random cool cafes in nooks of the world that I want to someday visit, and scouring their online stores for cups and saucers to buy.
i love going places with my friends, but sometimes you just gotta do it by yourself. make new friends. read a book. live a little! you wont know until you try
i went to school in maine! a lot of the coastal towns (rockland, camden specifically) are really cute and fun to drive through during the off-season. much more peaceful… portland is also great - was recently there and went to the Washington St Baths (like a spa with pools at different temperatures) which was a divine experience. also much better coffee in portland than anywhere else in the NE (including Boston)
a lot of people like the 501s, but they are sneaky wide and look silly on longer legs. the 505s are more tapered - i wear ‘em to the office every day. they’re also dirt cheap!
