We all know the dashi soup base sauce a lot, but what happens when we don't have them on deck? they're more expensive and more flavorful so sometimes you have to prioritize buying soy sauce and other stuff cause you're a poor millennial( like me) or H-mart is way too much work and travelling just for a jar of that. Hondashi dashi powder and soy sauce combined will make it taste the exact same. fun alternative when you're in a pinch and might be your last straw too!
make some dashi and use the stuff to make furikake after— it immediately elevates your sad rice-only desperation meal into a delicious and nourishing traditional Japanese meal
i recently discovered how Convenient it is by marinating similar ingredients together! Heres what you need:
Mason jar
Hard boiled egg
Chopped onions
Jalapeños
Garlic slices
Soy sauce
Rice vinegar (or black vinegar)
Salt
Sugar
Water (or dashi if you are better than everyone else ) Soy sauce and water (or dashi, you show off) would be 1:1
And all you need to do is toss all of them I. The jar and let it sit in the fridge over night! you’ll scoop out the onions while getting the egg so you have two amazing side snacks for your regular meal every time !
Do I find myself being a reply guy sometimes? Yes. Does it brings me joy whenever my friends or someone unexpected replied to my stories? Yes. Would you still reply to their stuff if you genuinely don’t give a shit and they uninterest you but not to the level you mute their content? No. So why not? We talk down ourselves so often let me lift you up , one “hell yeah” “LFG” at a time
There’s something special and beautiful about documenting the moment your friends shine the most. When they’re pouring their heart and soul making something a reality for them and you’re there to capture every moment around them.
