dont have to buy a coffee and its much quieter and have big tables and if u get bored u can play library book games that u make up, like trying to find the most conservative diet book
they have a quiet study area back in the books where nobody is allowed to talk/make too much noise. you’re supposed to do work back here but i’ve done all my work and i don‘t have anywhere to be for another two hours or so. it’s so calming back here and allows me to focus - even if focusing is just scrolling on pi and tumblr. 10/10 recommend finding a quiet place that isn’t your bedroom to hang out sometimes
The wifi is free, you don’t need to pay for a pastry or a coffee to use the space— they’re quiet, they often have workdesks and comfortable chairs, and using them supports their own funding requirements.
