they have a quiet study area back in the books where nobody is allowed to talk/make too much noise. you’re supposed to do work back here but i’ve done all my work and i don‘t have anywhere to be for another two hours or so. it’s so calming back here and allows me to focus - even if focusing is just scrolling on pi and tumblr. 10/10 recommend finding a quiet place that isn’t your bedroom to hang out sometimes
dont have to buy a coffee and its much quieter and have big tables and if u get bored u can play library book games that u make up, like trying to find the most conservative diet book
ive seen many posts reccing and appreciating it and i do love my library for all the great programs and shit but i especially like it to go and pretend to do work and look all mysterious and angelic for the old people i guess. it’s fun
reels are like... the mcdonalds of media except worse because mcdonalds is tasty. rarely do i ever get a reel that i'm like ohoho!!! thank god i came across this!!! i've largely split from using ig at all because of how easy it is to lose yourself in reels + how shitty i feel after. fuck short form portrait doomscrolling all my homies hate short form portrait doomscrolling
idk why. i didnt even see it until i was an adult watching the movie with summer camp kids. it’s so good and they all hate it so when i have a rough day and they’re being bad i make the after school kids watch it. he’s just so majestic idk guys
